CricAmore is a home for cricket fans of every team and every country. Debate hard, celebrate loudly, disagree respectfully. These rules apply to everything you post on CricAmore: activity updates, forum topics, replies, comments, photos, profile pictures, cover photos, group pages and private messages. By using CricAmore you agree to follow them.
What is never allowed
- Sexual or adult content – nudity, pornography, sexually suggestive images or text, or links to such content.
- Hate speech – attacks on people because of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, nationality, region, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Rivalry between teams is welcome; abuse of a country’s people is not.
- Abuse, harassment and threats – gaali, personal insults, bullying, threats of violence, or targeting players, journalists, officials or members.
- Violent or shocking content – gore, graphic injuries or content that glorifies violence or terrorism.
- Betting, gambling and match-fixing promotion – betting tips, betting app links, real-money fantasy promotions, sessions/khaiwal offers, or claims of fixed matches presented as fact.
- Illegal content – piracy (illegal live-stream links), drugs, weapons, or anything that breaks Indian law.
- Misinformation and fake news – fabricated quotes, fake injury or selection news, or doctored images passed off as real.
- Spam and scams – repeated posts, promotional links, referral codes, “earn money” schemes, or fake giveaways.
- Privacy violations – posting anyone’s phone number, address or private photos without consent.
- Copyright violations – uploading broadcast footage, paid articles or photos you do not have rights to.
- Political campaigning – CricAmore is about cricket. Keep politics out of it.
Good posting habits
- Post in the right forum and use a clear title.
- Criticise performances, not people. “His strike rate in the middle overs is too low” – yes. Personal insults – no.
- Mark spoilers for highlights and replays.
- Share sources when posting news or stats.
- Write in English or Hindi – both are welcome.
How we moderate
- Posts and comments containing blocked words are removed automatically; posts with links or betting terms are held for review.
- Use the Report button on any member’s profile to flag them. To report a specific post, photo or comment, send us the link. Every report is reviewed by our moderators.
- Members can Block anyone they do not want to interact with.
- Photo uploads may be limited to established members.
What happens if you break the rules
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove the content, issue a warning, suspend the account temporarily, or ban it permanently. Sexual content involving minors, credible threats and illegal content lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities. Moderator decisions can be appealed by writing to fininfoblog@gmail.com or through our Grievance Officer.
